Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) for the Environmental Services Department at Overlook Medical Center. Required hours are: 7:30AM - 3:30PM, including every other weekend and on-call.

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

• General cleaning, empty trash, high/low dusting, mop floors, sanitize all furniture inpatient rooms, clean commode, clean bathrooms and discard debris, remove soiled linen and replace with fresh linen in patient rooms.
• EVS Aide will also need to work at Union Campus.
• Position includes cleaning of bodily fluids.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent required or will obtain within 1 year of employment.
• To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Solid work history a must.
• Need to meet the fit testing requirement.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

Relevant Experience:

• Prior experience in housekeeping in either a hospital or institutional setting or a related field preferred.
• Prior Floor-care experience preferred.
