Come practice with our collaborative Indiana University Health Physicians Cardiology team! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our highly skilled, Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology department at Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis! This position will include 50% outpatient clinic and 50% inpatient heart failure management including initiation of guideline directed medical therapy, inpatient heart failure consults as well as outpatient follow appointment in clinic and patient education for heart failure patients.
Position Details:
Full-time employment
50% inpatient / 50% outpatient
Schedule: 4X10 hour day shifts and every 4th weekend (including holidays)
Qualifications:
Provider needs to have excellent critical thinking skills and be able to multitask in a high intensity setting. Must have excellent communication skills to ensure plans of care are carried through as well as to foster relationships across the multi-disciplinary team. Collaboration and confidence in their clinical skill set and ability to function at the top of scope is necessary.
Candidate must be eligible for licensure or licensed in Indiana
Will accept an ACNP, ANP, FNP or PA
If new graduate, RN experience in Cardiology required
