Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, the Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for developing, overseeing and managing marketing campaigns and projects on behalf of Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA), having significant impact on its mission and strategic business goals. Responsible for significant project management: planning, administering and completing assigned projects that across several functional areas. This position provides consultation to the Director of Marketing and Communications, and Chief Communications Officer and works to execute all marketing and communications strategies to advance program, department or marketing campaigns as directed by leadership. Assists Director of Marketing and Communications in developing campaign strategies and working to project manage campaign process across the Marketing team. Develops comprehensive plans and business strategies to the Directors of Marketing and Communications, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, department leaders and Directors of Service. Leads and supports team members in the preparation of reports on campaign performance, business results and ROI. The position also will assist in executing and optimizing our digital marketing initiatives, working with vendors on media buys and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance across platforms.
Essential Functions:
Oversees marketing campaigns, considering project management, execution, consultation and review with department leadership, and optimization review with the Marketing team. Coordinates and directs resources to ensure project deliverables are achieved. (15%)
Builds and manages all project deliverables; directs, monitors, and validates project performance; drives project work efforts to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget; identifies risk and develops appropriate response strategies; identifies and manages issues to include appropriate escalations. Monitors key performance indicators throughout the department, identifying areas for greater effectiveness, efficiency, and overall improvement. (15%)
Provides guidance and strategy recommendations to Marketing team on campaign needs and requests and actively participates in and leads (when appropriate) formal and informal department, team, and organization functions. (10%)
Educates sponsors, stakeholders, project team members, and affected users/staff on the project management process and any relevant policies and procedures; proactively promotes gathering of feedback and recommendations from all customers. (10%)
Develops and maintains relationships with all vendors to maintain active engagement and support, thereby ensuring all project tasks are addressed in a timely manner and handled with mutual respect, trust, and excellence. (10%)
Assists in social media concepts, compiling creative assets and running social media ads. (10%)
Optimize ad content within Google Ads, including copy changes, adding new creative assets, performing keyword and competitor analysis and managing Google ad campaigns (20%)
Use business intelligence tool such as Tableau for campaign analysis and reporting (10%)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Work Experience:
Minimum of five years? experience in marketing and/or media/communications required.
Minimum of two years? project management experience preferred (title not required).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bi-lingual English - Spanish highly desired.
Thorough understanding of marketing communications principles and strategies.
Demonstrates understanding of project management principles, processes, methodologies and tools.
Ability to assist in the performance management process for staff assigned to projects.
Ability to manage several small to large projects simultaneously. Good judgment/ ability to work cooperatively and in a mentoring role in an integrated team environment.
Service-oriented working style, excellent organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Routinely promotes positive customer service in dealing with patients, visitors, executive and other staff employees as evidenced by cooperation, responsiveness, and helpfulness.
Excellent communication skills and the capability to persuasively communicate the business value of marketing communication strategies to a range of audiences.
Self-starter and independent thinker who works with limited supervision and guidance. Uses time productively coordinating with others to achieve common goals and objectives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experienced in Google Tag Manager and implementing various GTM mechanisms
