At our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire we are looking for a Laboratory Scientist with experience to join our Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) department.
Working as part of our I&I, you will be trained in the analysis of pre-clinical and clinical samples for the Immunoassay, Flow Cytometry or Cell Based sections.
The work in I&I supports high sensitivity biomarker analysis and immunogenicity assessment of novel therapeutics.
Responsibilities will include:
Sample analysis using a variety of analytical techniques such as ELISA utilizing MSD, spectramax, and Luminex Technologies as well as Flow cytometry and Cell culture work.
Supporting analytical method (and equipment) validation under the guidance of scientific specialists.
Producing high quality data and supporting documentation within allocated timelines
Organising studies in the lab and reporting back to the wider team in meetings the progress of the studies
Performing the maintenance on the equipment within the laboratory.
Organising and replenishing stock and general housekeeping tasks
Sample Preparation tasks.
Adherence to Good Laboratory Practice regulations.

What Labcorp need from you:
Willingness to learn
Degree or relevant experience in Immunology and Immunotoxicology e.g. Immunology, biology, Biomedical science
No prior experience is required, all training will be provided.
There may be an occasional requirement to work on some weekends.
