DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Human Resources Department provides a variety of functional and system support services for all department and campuses across the organization. At. St. Charles, we believe our strength is in our people. Human Resources is focused on supporting our people strategy by delivering a robust foundation of services and specialized expertise including people and organizational development, talent acquisition, caregiver (employee) relations, labor relations, compensation, benefits and absence management, human resources information services, and onboarding/off-boarding.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The HRIS Analyst 1 works as a liaison between HR and Operations to provide day-to-day support to meet the needs of Human Resources and users of HR information. The HRIS Analyst 1 maintains a broad knowledge of St. Charles administrative systems and processes with an understanding of their interrelationships and dependencies. This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Ensures data accuracy and integrity within the Workday system, conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
Participates in the maintenance of HR metrics and analytics to support the various operational initiatives and departmental needs.
Provides end-user support, training, and documentation.
Supports the day-to-day operational needs of the Workday environment including user management, data changes, and analysis as needed.
Assists in performing system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of upgrades and new releases.
Assists in development of standard reports.
Assists with projects related to HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, Absence, and Benefit systems.
Logs HRIS end user issues in tracking system. Follows up with users to ensure issues were resolved promptly. Acts as representative for the Workday platform and provide administrative support for Workday related projects and initiatives.
Supports multiple concurrent tasks. Meets tight deadlines and escalates effectively to meet timelines.

EDUCATION:
Required: High School diploma or GED.
Preferred: Bachelors degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration or other related.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: One (1) year of experience in business application support (HRIS, ERP, Data Warehouse, or other business/technical applications). Experience in handling and maintaining of confidential, sensitive personnel information.
Preferred: Experience with Workday. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
