About Team:
Medical Affairs (MA) members provide Medical consultation serving Pharma clients and providing best in class laboratory medicine services for patients worldwide. MA interprets and sign out specific testing. MA acts as advisors for the different disciplines in the Laboratory, reviewing and approving method validations, reference ranges, SOPs, and new assay activities. MA - Pathologists review tissue slides in or to provide anatomic diagnostic results for patient management. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic student for an internship position in Singapore.
Internship Assignment Summary:
Main focus of internship is bridging multiple functional teams within the Anatomic Pathology and Histology (APH). Liaison between pathologist, scientist, laboratory technologist on lab testing related issues. Communicate pathologists? availabilities to related teams during fortnightly Pathologist-Lab-Scientist planning meetings. Assist pathologists as required and compile pathology diagnostic guidelines for reference. Actively participate in method validation experiments for APH, e.g., optimization of antibody concentrations or various pre-treatment factors for immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Job is performed in laboratory and administrative environment. You must have the ability to work collaboratively on a team as well as independently.
Skillsets needed: o Able to organize data and documents effectively. o Good communication skills when interacting with our Medical Affairs - Pathologist and Laboratory teams. o Have the "can-do" mindset and proactive attitude when investigating data.
Ideally, good at Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Additional technical competencies in other information technology systems desirable.
Education: Enrolled in Diploma/Degree within healthcare/biomedical field.
