Mid = $98,594.71

Summary:
This role will focus on managing and supporting desktop infrastructure with an emphasis on the Windows operating system, virtual desktop infrastructure (VOi), and associated technologies.

Responsibilities:

Operating Systems:

• Windows OS Management

1. Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktop operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS-related issues.

• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI}

1. Deploy, configure, and support VDI environments, particularly with IGEL thin clients.
2. Optimize VDI performance to meet user and organizational needs.

• Imaging Process

1. Develop, maintain, and execute imaging processes for deploying desktops, laptops, and VDI.
2. Manage and optimize imaging tools for efficiency and scalability.

• Patching and Updates

1. Manage and deploy security patches and software updates using MECM.
2. Ensure systems are updated and compliant with organizational standards.

Integrations

• lmprivata

1. Implement and manage lmprivata solutions for secure access and authentication.
2. Provide support and troubleshooting for lmprivata-related issues.

• ServiceNow

1. Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management, incident resolution, and reporting.
2. Contribute to process improvements and documentation within ServiceNow.

Maintenance

• Group Policy

1. Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce compliance and security standards.
2. Implement policy changes to improve the user experience and enhance security.

Support

• Office365 Support:

1. Administer and support Office365 applications and services.
2. Ensure seamless integration and functionality across desktop environments.

• End-User Support:

1. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to end users.
2. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and improve system performance.

Other duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Desktop Engineer or in a similar role
