The role you’ll contribute:
The Admin Director Facilities is responsible for providing leadership to Engineering, Construction, Safety Program, Grounds, and Security and for management of human, material and financial resources.This leader is expected to role model the organization’s values of care, quality, stewardship, accountability, integrity and courtesy.They are expected to formulate a plan for operation of their departments that are in alignment with Florida Hospital Tampa vision core purpose/mission and which supports and is fully integrated with organizational strategic plan and operational goals and objectives. They will work collaboratively with other leaders within the center and throughout the Hospital to achieve department, center and hospital-wide quality, satisfaction and financial goals.

· Contributes to positive outcomes and meets the cultural expectations of the organization by exhibiting professional behavior. · Manages the Space database and the facility assets list. · Shares responsibility for all aspects of team functions. · May oversees the Safety Officer and is responsible for Emergency Management, providing leadership management, and coordination related to Engineering, Design and Construction Services for Florida Hospital Tampa. · Initiates preventative maintenance schedules on the non-clinical equipment of the Hospital. · Monitors and evaluates the Utility Management System of the Hospital for compliance with EOC and TJC standards. · Evaluates effectiveness of the maintenance program and makes recommendations to the property maintenance schedules and non-scheduled actions on assigned work requests. · Provides guidance and training to members of the department. · Responsible for compliance with the financial budget of the department, monthly departmental meetings, and completing and forwarding reports to the COO. · Responsible for ensuring the execution and achievement of departmental KPIs aligned with the overall hospital business strategy.Provides monthly updates.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field i.e. Facilities Management, Construction Management or Engineering. · 7-10 Years managerial experience in a Healthcare, Construction and Engineering Environment. · Good communication skills and leadership ability. · AHCA experience required. · Joint Commission and/or DNV experience required. · Knowledge of blueprints and ability to price/negotiate and manage construction projects. · Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. · Ability to use various instruments, machines, tools, equipment and work aids as necessary to perform job duties. · Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) · Wiring knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems · Works with and has access to patient data, personnel concerns, other confidential and sensitive information related to medical staff, incident reports, and other areas of concern. · Current Florida State Driver’s License
