The role you’ll contribute:
- Reviews patient history, physical information, medications, procedure request and study protocol.
- Explains procedure and orients patient to the sleep center.
- Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and adjust if necessary.
- Apply electrodes and sensors per accepted standards.
- Perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and adjust if necessary.
- Perform positive airway pressure mask fitting
- Produces optimal recordings of EOG, EMG, EKG, SaO2, airflow, respiratory effort, CPAP and BIPAP.
- Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies or successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and or nationally accredited educational facility
- Must have CPR certification in Basic Life Support
- RPSGT /RRT-SD Certification
- BLS
- Minimum of 6 months experience preferred
- ACLS preferred
