The Radiology Technologist Trainee Program is for those who are:
3-6 months away from graduation
Can commit to a minimum of six shifts, every six weeks
Have an active BLS
In good standing in a JCERT certified program
Hold an active WA state Radiologic Technician license
Program Compensation:
This is a per diem position, non-benefit eligible.
Program costs:
MultiCare DOES NOT cover program costs, CPR certification, testing, or license fees.
Employment:
If offered a position into the program, you will be a per diem employee of MultiCare. Upon obtaining licensure, the participant will apply to their desired location for placement into a full-time position.
Requirement:
Two letters of recommendation will be required. One letter of recommendation must come from a MultiCare employee and a second letter of recommendation from a person of your choice.
Tuition assistance:
If accepted into the program, the program participant would be eligible for a $2,500 tuition assistance stipend to assist in successfully completing their program.

Position Summary
The Radiology Technologist is an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team. In this role, you will perform general radiology imaging studies that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.
Responsibilities
You will perform general radiography imaging studies under the supervision of the Chief Technologist and Director of Imaging Services
You will follow policies and procedures as you provide patient care activities and any related non-professional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients and families
You will recognize and report patient needs to create a safe and comfortable patient care environment
Requirements
Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
MA-P is required for Maple Valley Rad Techs who perform Phlebotomy

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $31.93 - $52.77 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicantâs years of experience align.
