Shift: Day Shift

Location: AdventHealth La Grange Hospital

The role you’ll contribute:

• Provides mammography imaging services.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures. Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Explains procedures and educates patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Graduate of a 2-year allied health program required.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
