Through 33 locations, partnerships in Denver Public Schools, collaborations with community organizations, home-based outreach, and a talented staff team of nearly 1,000 professionals, WellPower provides person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic treatment, prevention, outreach and crisis services to children, families and adults.
As the organization's top executive, the President & CEO has overall responsibility for creating, planning, implementing, and integrating the strategic direction of this $149 million organization, and leading its nearly 1,000 staff. This includes responsibility for all components and departments of the WellPower organization. The President & CEO reports to the Board of Directors and builds a system of communication and input to ensure that the organization understands and meets the needs of the people we serve, has secure finances and funding, and fosters innovation toward better mental health and well-being.
WellPower is seeking a visionary and transformative leader with strong business acumen who can navigate a dynamic healthcare landscape, champion DEIB principles, and inspire a dedicated workforce. This individual must be able to balance strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring the organization's continued success while upholding its mission of fostering well-being for all.
The candidate should bring a proven track record of managing complex organizations of a size comparable or larger than that of WellPower. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of leadership qualities, a forward-thinking approach to health care, specifically behavioral health, and a commitment to driving innovation while upholding WellPower's mission. Candidates will bring the ability to inspire, motivate, and build trust with internal and external stakeholders. They will bring demonstrated commitment to listening, communication, and nurturing positive organizational culture.
The salary range for the position is $460,000-$575,000, commensurate with experience, knowledge, skills, and professional attributes. Performance incentive compensation may be paid based on the organization's available financial resources and in alignment with industry standards. WellPower also provides robust compensation packages including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, 403(b) and 162 retirement plans, and paid time off.
