Pacific Pathology Associates, Inc, a Sonic Healthcare USA company, is recruiting for a Full-Time Surgical Pathologist to join our team in the desirable Willamette Valley. We are seeking candidates interested in a dynamic multi-specialty pathology practice. We are located in a cancer center-affiliated medical center and interpret surgical pathology, cytopathology, and other specimens. We also serve 5 hospitals and 225 outpatient offices in 17 cities in the Mid-Willamette Valley Region of Oregon.
Requirements: Experience signing out complex surgical pathology cases is desirable, but recent graduates will be considered. Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty is desirable but not required. Special consideration will be given to GI or GYN training. Medical directorship of an outlying laboratory is an eventual expectation. Candidates must possess a medical degree and be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon. Board certification or eligibility in anatomic and clinical pathology is required.
