Job Description

Materials Manager | Perioperative Services | NYC

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room (OR) Materials Manager with expertise in advanced data analytics to optimize surgical inventory, enhance supply chain efficiency, and drive cost-effective procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare supply chain management, with strong experience in data-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, and process automation.

Role Overview:

• Oversee and manage the Main Campus Perioperative Services materials management operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels and seamless clinical operations.

• Utilize advanced analytics tools to forecast demand, identify cost-saving opportunities, and reduce waste.

• Collaborate with clinical teams, OR supports team, sourcing, corporate procurement, and Supply Chain informatics to streamline workflows.

• Leverage, optimize, and develop data visualization dashboards to monitor supply utilization and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards related to Perioperative Services materials management.

• Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and performance management of direct reports.
• Clear and professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional groups including clinical staff and supply chain teams
• Resilience and a solution-oriented mentality to overcome operational challenges.
• Strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities successfully.
• Ability to handle complex logistics while ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.

Core Skills: .

• Experience in OR materials management within a hospital or surgical setting preferred

• Highly proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic decisions.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Additional Information:

• Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
• Shift: 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday (some flexibility required)

Pay Range: $90,700.00-$145,300.00
