The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Redmond

·       Rome’s historical markers help document the city’s history and gives insight into the culturally rich heritage.

·       Population- 36,332 (2019 census)

·       Developed s a regional center for the fields of medical care and education

·       In addition to its public-school system, it has several private schools. Higher-level educational institutions include private Berry College and Shorter University, and the public Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Highlands College.

·       Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.

The role you’ll contribute:

Collects blood from patients, checks quality of blood, and assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of patients following established standards and practices.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

·       Completion of a phlebotomy course and/or one year hospital experience in phlebotomy

·       Certification Exam Passed and current
