The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Denver Health Medical Center is recruiting for a 1-year OBGYN Hospitalist fellowship. Our mission is to train an OB/GYN Hospitalist with a focus on health equity and caring for an underserved patient population. Rotations will include labor and delivery, antepartum, gynecology, OBED, ultrasound, elective and research time. The curriculum is based on the Core Competencies for the Society of OB/Gyn Hospitalists. The fellowship will culminate in the presentation of a QI project completed during the fellowship year.
Essential Functions:
Provide inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecology patient care (20%)
Provide supervision of learners (residents, medical students, APP students) as appropriate (20%)
Collaborate with other providers (CNMs, APPs, Family Medicine physicians) on obstetric and gynecologic care (20%)
Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment with other staff (RNs, CRNAs, techs, etc.) (20%)
Provide educational duties as further outlined in the interview process (20%)
Education:
Doctorate Degree of an accredited medical school. Required
Work Experience:
Completion of a four-year residency in ObGyn. Required
Licenses:
MD-Physician - State Medical Board Required
