The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Nutrition Database Specialist maintains the CBORD foodservice software program for AdventHealth by monitoring therapeutic house diets, nutritional information, allergens, recipes, portion sizes, and food items that are used in the Nutritional Services (NS) department. Serves as an expert resource to the Adventist Information Technology (AIT) department, NS Director, Clinical Nutrition Manager, Dietitians, and Diet Office staff for CBORD interface subject matters. Integrates CBORD into clinical and AIT applications. Develops and provides training relating to all CBORD databases. Facilitates projects and assignments and monitors for accuracy and timeliness. Ensures patient safety by maintaining a test environment to ensure accuracy of information before entering the live menu environment. Facilitates CBORD upgrades. Provides menu support including the development of house diets, and diet type coding for allergy and preference compliance. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

·Serves as the subject matter expert and clinical resource to the AIT department, NS Director, Clinical Nutrition Manager, Dietitians, and Diet Office staff for CBORD interface and menu issues.
·Ensures integration of the foodservice program and electronic health record databases.
·Develops, implements, and complies with department policies, procedures, and guidelines.
·Maintains and audits all aspects of the CBORD database as it applies to patient services.
·Facilitates, implements, and manages CBORD upgrades, including hardware functionality and drivers.
·Develops and provides CBORD training and training materials to NS leaders, other users, and dietetic interns.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or nutrition-related field
·Two years’ experience in Clinical Nutrition
·Two years’ experience with electronic health records or nutritional analysis software
·Previous experience creating, evaluating, and scaling recipes
·Current, active Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
